Jackie has six pets of three different kinds - two dogs, two cats and two lizards. Whenever she takes a walk, she takes three animals, one of each variety with her. How many combinations of animals are possible on her walks?

8 combinations ( 2 x 2 x 2 = 8). For each dog, she can choose from two cats. Then she choose from two lizards. For each dog, you will have 4 combinations. For two dogs, it would be 8 combinations.
