Answers for sheet # 209

1) 4 x .57 = 2.283 x .99 = 2.9710 – 2.28 – 2.97 = $4.75 in change

2) ($1.50 x 4) + ($1.50) + (3 x $2.00) + (3 x $2.25) = $20.25 $30 - $20.25 = $9.75 left

3) $20 – (3 x $5)+ 3 x ($5 - $3.50) =
$20 - $15 = 5 + 3 x ($1.50) =
$5 + $4.50 = $9.50 that Mrs. Martinez now has in her pocket.

4) $12.75 + $10.25 + $15.10 = $38.10 all together
$38.10 - $32.99 = $5.11 left over after they bought the tie.
